Built for the 2026-07-13 call on the new internet service gateway and the OpenSprinkler reconnect. Headline: the AROYA mesh is healthy on the new gateway — all 3 gateways, all 24 node radios and all 48 substrate sensors reported within the last 5 minutes. The open items are 6 offline repeaters, 7 rooms with no sensors assigned, and the fact that no irrigation controller is registered to this facility in AROYA at all.

What to tell Nipat first: the new internet service gateway did not break AROYA. Every AROYA gateway, node radio and substrate sensor is talking right now. Two rooms — 1Z and Jims Room #2 — started returning data on 2026-07-11 13:00 UTC after returning nothing for the prior 12 days, which is consistent with the gateway swap, but the AROYA API cannot prove causation (see Data Quality). Ask him to confirm the date the new gateway went in.Qué decirle primero a Nipat: el nuevo gateway de internet no rompió AROYA.

Fleet Inventory — Radios vs SensorsInventario — Radios vs Sensores

These are two different populations and are never summed as a single device count. Radios carry the Wirepas mesh (battery, signal, link quality, travel time). Sensors are the probes hanging off them (substrate moisture, substrate EC, substrate temperature). At Bloomfield each H344 node radio hosts two TEROS-15 substrate probes — the second probe appears in the API as a -2 record with no radio of its own (no next-hop, no link quality).Son dos poblaciones distintas y nunca se suman como un solo conteo.

There are no climate sensors at this facility. The AROYA device registry for 4497 contains only gateways, repeaters, node radios and TEROS-15 substrate probes — no ATMOS, no climate station, no CO₂ sensor. Every room therefore returns substrate moisture, substrate EC and substrate temperature only. Air temperature, RH, VPD and CO₂ are not measured anywhere in the facility. That is a hardware gap, not a data gap.

Connectivity Timeline — the New Internet Service GatewayCronología de Conectividad

How this timeline was built. AROYA's per-device telemetry endpoint only retains roughly the last 2 days — a node that is demonstrably healthy returns zero points for a window 3 weeks back. So a 30-day per-device chart is not obtainable from the API, and this timeline is built from two sources that are reliable: (1) the authoritative lastCommunication stamp on every device record, and (2) the room-level substrate chart, which retains full history and shows exactly when each room started and stopped producing data.Cómo se construyó esta cronología. La telemetría por dispositivo solo retiene ~2 días.

The offline repeaters are not currently costing you data. Every node radio is reporting, because Wirepas self-healed and re-routed the affected nodes straight to a sink. The repeaters are redundancy you have lost, not coverage you have lost — but they are also the devices that will not receive the WP4 → WP5 firmware push while they are offline (see Firmware).Los repetidores fuera de línea no están costando datos actualmente.

These seven rooms — the “Section” rooms plus 10 section 2z — carry 28 named zones between them (Rockets, Gelato, Kind Cake, Purple Cream, Apple Fritter, Hendrix…), which suggests they were used in the 2025 season. They are dark because they have no sensors, not because of the internet service change. OpenSprinkler — Why It Cannot ReconnectOpenSprinkler

Finding: there is no irrigation controller registered against facility 4497 in AROYA. All 59 device records return an empty irrigationSupportStatus, and the SPA exposes no irrigation-controller collection for this facility. AROYA is currently receiving zero irrigation telemetry from Bloomfield — no drip volume, no drain volume, no shot log. Every irrigation number in the companion cultivation audit is inferred from substrate moisture step-ups, not read from a controller.

The subnet is the thing to check firstLo primero: la subred

OpenSprinkler is a LAN device. AROYA reaches it over the local network, which means the OpenSprinkler and the AROYA gateway have to be on the same subnet. Bloomfield's three AROYA gateways are currently on 192.168.1.5, 192.168.1.27 and 192.168.1.233 — so the new internet service gateway is handing out 192.168.1.x.OpenSprinkler es un dispositivo LAN.

If the OpenSprinkler was given a static IP on the old router's subnet (a 192.168.0.x, 10.0.0.x or similar), it is now sitting on a network that no longer exists and nothing can route to it — which is exactly the symptom Nipat described. The fastest checks, in order:Si el OpenSprinkler tiene IP estática en la subred del router antiguo, ya no es alcanzable.

  1. Read the IP off the OpenSprinkler's own LCD / app. Does the third octet read 1 (i.e. 192.168.1.x)?Leer la IP en la pantalla del OpenSprinkler.
  2. If not, either set it to DHCP and let the new gateway assign it, or give it a static address inside 192.168.1.x that is outside the new router's DHCP pool.
  3. Confirm the OpenSprinkler is on the same physical network segment / VLAN as the AROYA gateways (a new ISP gateway sometimes brings a guest network or a second SSID with client isolation).Confirmar que está en el mismo segmento/VLAN.
  4. Once it answers on 192.168.1.x, re-add it in AROYA and confirm irrigationSupportStatus populates and drip/drain series start arriving.Volver a añadirlo en AROYA.
Open question, not documented — to clarify on the call: whether the OpenSprinkler was ever fully integrated with AROYA at this facility, or whether it has been running standalone and the ask is to connect it for the first time. Nothing in the AROYA record shows it was ever registered here.

Firmware — WP4 → WP5Firmware — WP4 → WP5

All three gateways already report ggVersion = 2, i.e. WP5. The H340 repeaters and H344 nodes are new-generation models that move to WP5 automatically with the gateway push — the update is sent over the air by the gateway to every device that is online at the scheduled time, with a go/no-go of online + battery ≥ 30% + signal ≥ 50%.Los tres gateways ya reportan WP5.

Every node radio at Bloomfield is online at 100% battery and link quality 92–100, so all 24 clear the go/no-go comfortably. The six offline repeaters will simply not receive WP5 — they stay on WP4, unharmed. Nothing is lost and nothing is damaged by missing a push; the constraint is WP4/WP5 compatibility, not device health. If they are brought back online later, a gateway can be reverted to WP4 and the push re-run — there is no time limit on that. The two repeaters that dropped this morning are the realistic ones to recover before any scheduled push; the five that have been silent since April are better handled as a retire / trade-in conversation.
