The other four rooms read as mid-flower bulking, but with two distinct failure modes: Flower 11 and Flower 10 are vegetatively-pushed (dryback 14–15 pp, the floor of the 15–25 pp band). In Flower 10 — the only climate-instrumented room — the room itself is reinforcing veg steering: VPD mean 0.93 kPa (target 1.2–1.4) and air-temp 73.4 °F (target 75–80 °F). Room 1 and Room 8 are stacking EC, but with severe zone-to-zone uniformity failure: Room 1 Zone 5 shows VWC slope −9 pp/d with EC slope +1.15/d (r² 0.98) — classic channeling. Room 8 Zone 5 pore_EC sits at 3.2 mS while the room runs 4.5 — feed-line anomaly. The single highest-priority action is to diagnose dripper / channeling in Rooms 1 and 8 immediately, then re-establish AROYA harvest groups on every room so the next two-week window can be steered against live targets.

This is the first AROYA Substrate Irrigation Audit on record for Green Genius (facility 4007). No prior commitments, target-band changes, climate set-point adjustments, or dripper diagnostics from earlier reports exist to verify against. This document establishes the baseline — the recommendations in Section 9 become the commitment set that the next two-week audit will measure against.

Only Flower 10 carries a room-level climate sensor (EE894 — temp / RH / VPD / CO₂ / abs-hum) during the audit window. The other four rooms have substrate sensors only. This section covers Flower 10 in depth and flags climate-blind rooms below.

VPD mean of 0.93 kPa sits below the 1.2–1.4 kPa bulking target. Air-temp mean 73.4 °F sits below the 75–80 °F bulking target. The room is not driving enough transpiration for the bulking phase — canopy is being asked to throw weight while the climate behaves like a stretch room. This is the climate-side echo of the shallow 14.6 pp dryback. HVAC capacity action: lift set-point 2–4 °F toward 76 °F, or drop RH ~5 pp via dehum, to land VPD inside 1.2–1.4 kPa. CO₂ is solidly supplemented (mean 1768 ppm, controller capping at 2000) — the photosynthetic ceiling is the climate, not the gas.

Substrate temperature is a low-fidelity proxy for room air temperature — useful for ruling out severe cold but not for VPD, DIF, or DLI. Green Genius runs two photoperiod shifts: rooms on Shift A (Flower 6, Flower 10, Room 8) light at 01:00; rooms on Shift B (Flower 11, Room 1) light at 13:00. This is a deliberate HVAC + electrical load split — at any given hour, only half the facility is in the high-evaporative-demand portion of the day. The climate envelope of Flower 10 (Shift A) cannot be extrapolated to Flower 11 or Room 1 (Shift B) because their lit-window starts when Flower 10 is in P3 / lights-off.

Flower 10 is the only room where both substrate and climate signals coexist, so it's the only room where we can read the full causal chain: climate drives transpiration drives substrate dryback drives EC trajectory. The other four rooms can only show the substrate side of the chain.

In bulking, the room should be pulling hard on the canopy: VPD 1.2–1.4 kPa, air-temp 75–80 °F, daily dryback 15–25 pp, P0 delay 60–90 min. What Flower 10 shows: VPD 0.93 kPa, air-temp 73.4 °F, daily dryback 14.6 pp. The irrigation side is shallow because the climate side under-drives transpiration. The two are reinforcing — neither lever is asking the plant to throw weight. If the grower's intent is bulking, both levers need to move together; tightening irrigation alone (deeper P3 dryback) will starve plants in a low-VPD room. Lift VPD first, watch the dryback follow.

Zone 5 (82053) shows VWC change −27.1% over the window with EC stacking +1.12 mS·cm⁻¹ and slope +1.15 mS/d at r² 0.98. Zone 4 (82052) shows VWC change −20.9% with EC +0.89 mS·cm⁻¹ slope +0.94/d. Both signatures fit channeling or dripper failure: water is bypassing the plant's root zone, leaving salts to concentrate in a smaller and smaller volume of held substrate. Action: pull the slab and visually inspect the dripper at both zones; measure flow with a graduated cylinder at each emitter; sample runoff EC if any is being collected. If drippers are clogged, replace; if dripper position has shifted, re-stake. Once flow is restored, re-saturate to FC and let the plant pull dryback back to band over 3–5 days.

Zone 3 (82155) shows VWC change −20.6% with EC slope +0.86/d, Zone 4 (82156) shows VWC change −14.6% with EC slope +1.13/d — same channeling signature as Room 1. Zone 5 (82157) is the opposite problem: pore_EC sits at 3.2 mS·cm⁻¹ (room mean 4.5) and VWC mean 59.4% (room mean 46) — that zone is over-watered relative to the rest of the room. Either it's on a separate flush schedule or its feed line is delivering lower-EC water. Action: identical channeling diagnostic on Z3 & Z4; for Z5, confirm with the grower whether it's intentionally flushing, otherwise audit the feed manifold for split lines or a partial blockage upstream of Z5.
Zona 3 (82155) cambio VWC −20.6% con pendiente CE +0.86/d, Zona 4 (82156) cambio VWC −14.6% con pendiente CE +1.13/d — misma firma de canalización que Room 1. The AROYA public_api does not expose a per-shot event log for Green Genius (OpenSprinkler controller history lives outside /portal_api/). We infer the shot cadence from VWC step-up inflections at sensor cadence (3–15 min). The 4-phase day vocabulary still anchors the read.

Across all four bulking rooms, the P3 dry-down is shallow: 12–17 pp observed against a 15–25 pp target. The grower has the option to: (a) lengthen P0 delay 30–60 min and shorten P2 to deepen P3, (b) shift one shift's intent toward early-flower / stretch by reading the steering deliberately, or (c) accept the vegetative push if cultivar and yield strategy support it. In Flower 10 specifically, no irrigation change will land until the climate envelope lifts — VPD 0.93 will keep the plant from pulling deep dryback regardless of P3 length.
