The Lead — what the 14 days tell usLa Lectura — lo que dicen los 14 días

12-room cultivation audit · Hytek: Bright Moor Gardens (facility 2993) · 2026-05-27 → 2026-06-10 (REAL 14-day trace, raw ~9-min cadence stitched from AROYA public_api, 2-day windows merged). This is a first-touch POC baseline — there is no prior audit or commitment history for this site, so the read below is a clean health-check of what AROYA telemetry shows across the deck and a marker for what the next two weeks should standardize. Phase mix is signal-inferred from steering signatures (dryback depth, pore-EC trajectory, VPD regime) — the harvest-group roster was unavailable this run (SPA session down), so phase labels are read from the data, not the AROYA HG calendar (see §10). Inferred mix: 5 bulking, 2 ripening, 3 early flower / stretch, 1 veg, 1 idle/turnover. The lead — is the deck steering coherently? Mostly yes at the finish, less so mid-flower. (1) The ripening pair is the model cohort. Flower 9 + Flower 11 land 25.1–25.8 pp daily dryback (absolute pp, peak − pre-irrigation low) against a 25–35 pp ripening target, with the tightest spread on the deck (0.7 pp dryback, 5.0 pp peak-VWC, P1 onset within 0.1 h day-to-day). That is textbook generative finishing — replicate its recipe discipline. (2) The bulking cohort is mostly in-band but inconsistent. Daily dryback runs 9.3–17.3 pp against a 12–18 pp target — the high rooms are correct, the low rooms (Flower 5/7 at ~9–13 pp) are under-drying. Peak VWC spreads 10.6 pp (31.3–41.9%) and P1 onset spreads 2.15 h across the cohort — same phase, different recipes. (3) Early-flower is the widest cohort. Dryback spreads 18.5 pp (10.3–28.8 pp) across the three stretch rooms — Flower 10 is steering generatively (28.8 pp, building stack) while Flower 6 sits shallow at 10.3 pp. If those are the same phase, they are on different programs. (4) Substrate runs lean and steerable. Daily peak VWC across flower sits ~31–55% with deep drybacks and pore EC stacking to 6–9 mS — a low-FC, high-steerability substrate (reads like coco or a small rockwool block; substrate type was not set in the AROYA config). (5) One room (Flower 1) reads idle/turnover — 0.6 pp dryback, ~0.2 shots/day, EC washing down — i.e. between runs, not a steering fault. Data window: 2026-05-27 → 2026-06-10, ≥98.8% timestamp coverage in all 12 deep-dive rooms (11 at 100%); 0 room(s) carry zone-level sensor flags. No CO₂ telemetry exists at this facility (no CO₂ sensor in the device fleet) and no flow/runoff series is available — shot counts and P1/P2 cadence are derived from VWC step-up signatures (≥0.8 pp rise between consecutive ~9-min samples; see §10 Data Quality).12-room cultivation audit · Hytek: Bright Moor Gardens (facility 2993) · 2026-05-27 → 2026-06-10 (REAL 14-day trace, raw ~9-min cadence stitched from AROYA public_api, 2-day windows merged). POC Baseline — What the Next Two Weeks Should StandardizeLínea Base POC — Qué Estandarizar en las Próximas Dos Semanas

First-touch engagement — no prior commitments to gradePrimer contacto — sin compromisos previos

This is the opening POC read of Hytek: Bright Moor Gardens; there is no prior AROYA audit or commitment history for this site, so this section sets the baseline rather than grading deltas. The deck is already steering coherently at the finish — the ripening pair is a textbook generative-finish cohort and should be treated as the in-house template. The three things the next two weeks should standardize, in priority order:
1 · Normalize the bulking recipe. Daily dryback spans 9.3–17.3 pp and peak VWC 31.3–41.9% across rooms that read as the same phase — pick one P1 onset, shot size and P2 count per phase recipe and program it identically (§7, §9).
2 · Resolve the early-flower split. The three stretch rooms span 18.5 pp of dryback (10.3–28.8 pp) — confirm whether they are genuinely the same phase, and if so converge their programs (§5, §7).
3 · Close two telemetry gaps so the next audit can grade more. (a) No CO₂ sensor is deployed — CO₂ dosing is invisible to AROYA; adding an EE894/CO₂ probe in flower unlocks the climate side. (b) No flow/runoff series exists, so shot sizes and runoff % are derived, not measured — a drain-sensor or a one-week manual runoff log against the 20–30% bulking target would let the next cycle grade leaching directly. (c) Substrate type is not set in the AROYA room config — setting it tightens every phase target band.
Hardware footnote: Veg 1 returned no data this window (single device, likely offline/unplaced) and Veg 3 carries climate sensors only (no substrate probes) — both are device-coverage items, detailed in the companion Device Health report.

Does the day's VPD profile match the day's shot rhythm? A high-VPD afternoon needs P2 to defend FC. A low-VPD afternoon means cutting P2 to drive a deeper P3 dryback. This section reads the per-room correlation and flags climate-driven steering misalignment.¿El perfil VPD del día coincide con el ritmo de shots del día? Irrigation Shot-Cycle — P0 / P1 / P2 / P3Ciclo de Riego — P0 / P1 / P2 / P3

The 4-phase day is the grower's controller programming: P0 activation (lights-on → first shot), P1 ramp-up (small shots back to FC + first runoff), P2 maintenance (pulses holding VWC at FC, EC managed via runoff), P3 dry-down (last shot → next morning, the primary steering lever). The table below is the room-by-room answer to the consistency question: observed P1 onset (ET clock time ± day-to-day variation), shots/day, P2 pulses/day, daily peak VWC, and daily dryback — all derived from VWC step-up signatures (≥0.8 pp rise between consecutive ~9-min samples; no flow telemetry — see §10). Same-phase rooms should match on every column; the spreads are the finding.El día de 4 fases es la programación del controlador: P0 activación, P1 rampa, P2 mantenimiento, P3 dry-down. La tabla muestra valores observados derivados de firmas de subida VWC; salas de la misma fase deben coincidir en cada columna.

Grower Bulking cohort — converge the recipe to the 12–18 pp band
Standardize one bulking program: lift P1 volume / add P2 maintenance pulses in the under-drying rooms (Flower 5, Flower 7 at ~9–13 pp) and hold the high rooms at the top of the band, so the cohort lands 12–18 pp absolute consistently
The bulking cohort spans 9.3–17.3 pp daily dryback (12–18 pp target) — the high rooms are correct, but the shallow rooms are under-driving the dry-down. Peak VWC spreads 10.6 pp (31.3–41.9%) and pore EC scatters across the cohort. Bulking is the turgor / cellular-expansion phase — vegetatively-steered, FC defended through P2. Convergence here protects bulking weight and tightens EC discipline.
Grower All flower rooms — standardize P1 onset per phase
Pick ONE P1 start time per phase recipe (e.g. lights-on + 60–90 min in bulking; + 120–240 min in stretch/ripening) and program it identically in same-phase rooms
First-shot clock time spreads 2.15 h across the bulking cohort — same phase, different clocks. The ripening pair already holds its onset within 0.1 h day-to-day; use its controller program as the template. Same phase, same recipe, same clock is the single clearest irrigation-consistency lever.
Grower Early-flower split — confirm phase, then converge
Reconcile the three stretch rooms: Flower 10 is steering generatively (28.8 pp dryback, stacking EC) while Flower 6 sits shallow (10.3 pp). Confirm they are genuinely the same crop stage; if so, move the shallow rooms onto the deeper P3 program
The early-flower cohort spans 18.5 pp of dryback (10.3–28.8 pp) — the widest on the deck. Early flower / stretch is the generative window (target 20–30 pp absolute, P0 delay 120–240 min, EC stacking 6–12 mS). A room at 10 pp in stretch is being vegetatively pushed when it should be driving stretch control — that is the classic "stretch out of control" risk.
Owner Ripening pair — adopt as the in-house template
Document Flower 9 + Flower 11's controller program (P1 onset, shot size, P2 count, P3 depth) as the facility's generative-finish recipe card and replicate it across the ripening cohort as rooms enter finish
The ripening pair lands 25.1–25.8 pp daily dryback against a 25–35 pp target, with the tightest spread on the deck (0.7 pp dryback, 5.0 pp peak-VWC, onset within 0.1 h). This is textbook generative finishing — the deck already knows how to do this; the win is making it the default, not the exception. (EC restack check: Flower 11 at ~9 mS is above the 6–8 mS ripening band — trim feed EC slightly.)
Owner Per-phase steering principles — one-page recipe card per phase
Adopt the §8 phase ladder as the facility's controller spec: stretch = generative (dryback 20–30 pp, P0 delay 120–240 min, EC stacking 6–12 mS) · bulking = vegetative (12–18 pp, P2 defends FC, EC pulled back 4–7 mS) · ripening = generative (25–35 pp, EC restack 6–8 mS)
A written per-phase recipe (P1 onset clock, shot size, P2 count, target dryback in absolute pp, target pore EC band) turns "steering principles" into controller programming and makes the next audit a pass/fail per room. The deck's behaviour is already coherent at the finish — codifying it is what makes it repeatable across the whole room set.
Process Telemetry — add CO₂ sensing + a runoff signal
Deploy an EE894 / CO₂ probe in at least the flower rooms (no CO₂ sensor exists in the fleet today) and commission a drain/runoff sensor or run a 1-week manual runoff log (volume in vs out + runoff EC) against the 20–30% bulking target
CO₂ dosing is currently invisible to AROYA — the climate half of crop steering can't be graded without it. And with no flow/runoff series, shot sizes and runoff % are derived from VWC step-ups, not measured. Both gaps directly limit how much the next audit can grade; closing them is the highest-leverage telemetry investment at this site.
Process Config + device coverage — set substrate, recover Veg 1, add Veg 3 substrate probes
Set the substrate type in each room's AROYA config (tightens every phase target band), bring Veg 1's single device online/placed (no data this window), and add substrate probes to Veg 3 (climate-only today). Re-pull the live HG roster once the SPA session is back to confirm phase boundaries
Substrate type is unset, so target bands are generic. Veg 1 returned no data and Veg 3 has no substrate sensing — both are blind spots on the veg side of the deck. Phases in this report are signal-inferred (no HG roster this run); a live roster pull would confirm them. See the companion Device Health report for the per-device picture.

Data Quality & LimitationsCalidad de Datos y Limitaciones

Sensor coverage, missing windows, and exclusions. Coverage is the % of expected hourly samples actually present over the 14-day window. Rooms with <90% coverage get a footnote on every metric they appear in.Cobertura de sensores, ventanas faltantes y exclusiones.

Audit-level limitationsLimitaciones de la auditoría
  • Phases are SIGNAL-INFERRED, not roster-verified — the harvest-group roster was unavailable this run (SPA / app.aroya.io session down) and there is no prior cache for this facility, so phase labels are read from steering signatures (dryback depth, pore-EC trajectory, VPD regime), not the AROYA HG calendar. Treat phase boundaries as approximate until re-verified against a live HG pull. This is a first-touch POC engagement — no prior audit or commitment history exists for this site.
  • No CO₂ telemetry exists at this facility — there is no CO₂ sensor (e.g. EE894) in the device fleet, so CO₂ dosing is not visible to AROYA and is not graded. CO₂ charts render empty by design.
  • Shot counts and P1/P2 cadence are DERIVED, not measured — a "shot" is a VWC step-up of ≥0.8 pp between consecutive ~9-min samples on the zone-mean series. No flow-meter or valve-event telemetry was available. Counts are reliable for rhythm/consistency comparison; absolute shot sizes (% of substrate volume) are not graded.
  • No runoff series exists in the public_api chart payload for facility 2993 — runoff % and runoff EC cannot be graded. A drain sensor or a manual runoff log would unlock leaching analysis (see §9).
  • Substrate type is not set in the AROYA room config — phase target bands are therefore generic. The signal (low daily peak VWC ~31–55%, deep drybacks, high steerability) reads like coco or a small rockwool block, but is not confirmed.
  • P1 onset clock times are America/Detroit (EDT, UTC−4). Lights-on is estimated from each room's mean diurnal air-temp ramp; where that estimate failed, P0 delay is suppressed rather than reported wrong, and P1 onset (clock time) is used as the consistency metric.
  • Daily dryback (absolute pp) = daily peak VWC − the following pre-irrigation low on the zone-mean series, averaged across the window. Per AROYA convention, never expressed relative to field capacity.
  • Rooms excluded from the deep-diveVeg 1 (6888) returned no chart data this window (single device, likely offline/unplaced) and Veg 3 (6901) carries climate sensors only (no substrate probes). Both are device-coverage items in the companion Device Health report. Flower 1 (6889) reads idle/turnover (0.6 pp dryback, ~0.2 shots/day) and is shown but not graded as an active steering room.
